WinesU, U.S. Importer of Zaccagnini, Acquired by ARGEA
WinesU is a wine importer dedicated to providing customers with excellent, U.S. service. They are Italy’s largest and leading, private producer of Italian and French wines. The acquisition of Argea wines reinforces their respective sector’s presence in the U.S. market and the Group’s main export destination. Consequently, this acquisition is creating new growth opportunities. They’re best known for bringing the iconic Italian label Cantina Zaccagnini to American consumers.
They’re now set to join Argea. In fact, WinesU is Italy’s leading private group in the wine sector. It has closed the 100 percent acquisition of WinesU, while strengthening premium Italian wine’s position in the U.S. market. This also expands its reach. This strategic acquisition allows Argea to consolidate its position in its largest market in 2024. It is now accounting for over 30 percent of total exports.
This is a message from Massimo Romani, CEO of Argea. “The acquisition of WinesU is a pivotal step in Argea’s international growth journey. This reaffirms the strategic importance of the United States as our leading market in terms of sales and revenue. This milestone once again demonstrates Argea’s ability to grow and innovate. We’re focusing on enhancing our territories and distributing excellent Italian wines worldwide. We welcome our new WinesU colleagues to the Argea family and to continue the company’s management with full operational continuity. Maintaining the same contributing team, is most to the success of the U.S. business, for long and prestigious years.”

Flying Really In HIGH Style
To celebrate Delta’s 100th anniversary, Domaine Taittinger is flying with Delta Airlines. As a result, they are both proud to bring their shared passion for sophistication and excellence to the skies. Now served in Delta One, Taittinger’s Brut La Française makes every moment onboard more special. A glass of Taittinger at 35,000 feet on Delta Airlines? Yes, please! According to Vitalie Taittinger, “Together, we are elevating the art of hospitality, one glass at a time.”
Quotations From The Companies Follow:
Delta’s Manion Taylor: “At Delta, we are never satisfied with the status-quo. Our teams are consistently pushing, testing, and elevating our offerings with the goal of providing a best-in-class onboard experience. We are always working to surpass our own high standard. Similarly, Taittinger is known for having the highest-quality production. It exceeds minimum aging requirements and embodying sustainable practices in addition to creating excellent Champagne.”
Vitalie Taittinger, President of Champagne Taittinger: “We take great pride in sharing our Champagne with those who appreciate craftsmanship and elegance. This partnership -especially in such a milestone year – is a beautiful opportunity, bringing our heritage to travelers around the world. Together, we are elevating the art of hospitality, one glass at a time.”

Cellar Pass ~ Hidden Gem Alert
This one is a handy coincidence to my latest wine blog story just published called, Where Is Suisun, You Might Ask? The Website Cellar Pass coincidentally just published a very easy segue. It was called Hidden Gem Alert: A Wine Lover’s Perfect Weekend in Suisun Valley. Cellar Pass simplifies wine areas for wine consumers who are headed to wine country. The website first explains the benefits of the region. They have a planned itinerary. It lists a couple of morning wineries, then where to have lunch, and then another couple more wineries to explore.
This one starts with Vezer Family Vineyards, then segues to Suisun Valley Filling Station & Visitor Center. It then suggest you have a delicious lunch at Il Fiorello Olive Oil Company. After lunch it’s time to enjoy two more wineries. Vezer Family Vineyard is a charming location with great wines, then off the Suisun Valley Filling Station and Visitor’s Center. An alternative for after lunch are BackRoad Vines and Sunset Stop. This is where you’ll find Ryan Darrell and King Andrew Vineyards wines.
This info, with many more aspects of wine, happens on Cellar Pass. The list includes upcoming special events, popular destinations, including even a travel blog discussing what’s trending. So, it’s kinda handy for sure, when traveling into wine country, with all of its nuances in California. According to the site, “It all started in 2006 with an idea of booking winery visits, sketched on a paper napkin.” Napkins… how many a great passions has evolved!

Do You Need Great Images For Your Work?
Years ago, I began buying photos from Getty Images, when I started my blog, in December 2005, when I needed images. Then, I found an alternative FREE website call Dollar Photos, which then merged with Getty Images, and reasonable rates went through the roof. Since I’m not paid for my time and whatever talent I might have, I really try to keep it to something reasonable, and Getty is for people with an expense account. So, Dollar became expensive, and then Getty bought them. Bah-bye. Unsplash is still free, still with more sophisticated shots they also costs something.
You Deserve Living Well!©
I’ve now been using 123rf, pretty much exclusively, which began in 2006 with subscription. Whenever I blow through what I’ve purchased I just purchase more credits. And wait! There’s MORE. The Website 123rf has tons of FREE photo. I’m sharing my trade secret with you, in the event you would love to illustrate people, places, or things, too, but aren’t sure where to go. I really endorse 123RF whole hardheartedly, if you’re not in the right photo isle yet. Beyond my subscription, I also have access to thousands of free images!
And, of course, I have more images I’ve taken, and let people know they are mine and if you’d like to use it, you have to let me know. My website is (of course) copy written.

123rf’s free photos page for illustrating your thoughts. Go discover!
