The best and brightest talent in Oregon is gathering in Hillsboro”s Willamette Valley to discuss the potential of Oregon’s Pinot Gris putting Oregon squarely on the map as “the Pinot state” (both Gris and Noir). Think red or white Pinot, think Oregon…
Oak Knoll’s President Greg Lint has told me, “With its unique climate, soils, vineyards and viticulturists, as well as unique and independent winemakers, studying Pinot Gris and defining it as ‘a wine grape perfectly suited to Oregon, and it being the best value on the market,’ is the mission of this symposium.” While it might seem like a tall order, Greg continued, “With Pinot Gris being Oregon’s largest white wine grape crop, it’s more a matter of clear definition and getting to the heart of the matter for better overall marketing and sales for us.”
Attendees will be welcomed by Greg Lint and Jeff Herinckx (Winemaker).
The following industry experts will be sharing their insights and knowledge about Pinot Gris…
