Wanted: One Amazing Wine or Wine Related Company That Doesn’t Need Social Media 101 Lessons

Because if you have to be convinced, this person is not for you. You’ll only frustrate each other, and too much awesome talent is going to be going down that drain. What a waste that would be for everyone.

Social Media is proving to be not for the feint of heart… nor the laggard of mind.

If you’ve created a Twitter name, but you’re not doing anything with your Twitter account, you’re still not anywhere near understanding the value that this person brings to the table. It’s demanding and evolving so fast that one has to keep up, or become antiquated a lot faster than ever before. (I just learned that one of my high school friends doesn’t even own a computer… I shuddered.)

If, however, you’ve got an active wine related Twitter account, and @winebratsf is not an enigma to you ~ but known as one of the most prolific wine, social media people on the Internet ~ you’ve just found pay dirt if you need someone for analytics!

Thea Dwelle just sent this Email to me:

As you may or may not know, I have decided that my personal goal for 2010 is to work on making the transition from high tech, to a more balanced career that combines my core skills with my core passion – technology and wine.

I am seeking to utilize my technical expertise, specifically in CRM solutions and on demand applications, and business acumen in conjunction with my passion for the wine business and the future of the industry as it pertains to technology and social media.

Since I value your opinions and trust your advice, I would love to get your feedback on ideas on what you might find as a good fit in the industry, and ask you to keep your eyes and ears open for openings that you think I would excel at. I’ve attached my resume to that end, but please send me your comments or questions since I would love your feedback! I’m trying to figure out the best way to incorporate my wine experience as well.

Thea is looking to secure a position that utilizes her customer service and project management skills to create win-win scenarios for customers and companies, and to effectively evangelize their product line with new marketing methods. (You go, Girl!)
