It’s hard to believe that this year, like all others, has just flown by. Having rock n’roll radio roots before my wine days, back then I came to the conclusion that life is like a long playing LP. (Anyone remember those?) The closer you get to the center, the faster the revolutions go.
- This year had me planning Dark & Delicious in January.
- Executing D&D in February.
- Planning a Chocolate and Big Reds panel in March.
- Executing the panel at the Florida Winefest in April.
- Attending Ghirardelli Square in May.
- Planning a Petite Sirah Symposium in June and July.
- Executing the PS Symposium at Concannon in August.
- Planning a trip to Portugal to visit Enoforum Wines in September.
- Traveling to Portugal in late October into November.
- Sending out holiday greetings (about 1,000 cards) in December.
- There it is, with images of a year of wonder, which was 2009.
Happy New Year, everyone. May you, too, have another wondrous year in 2010.

Sounds like a very busy year. What do you have planned for 2010?
Josh @nectarwine
Happy New Year Jo,
It has been nice learning from you since the Petite Sirah Symposium in August.
I hope you have a great 2010,
Victor
Edwards Vineyard & Cellars
PS. I would also like to wish Jim Concannon a Happy New Year! He was so wonderful to us at the Petite Sirah Symposium, and Happy New Year to Loweeel too!
Nectar Wine,
Just about the same… D&D is this February (want tickets?). I’ve been invited to Bordeaux to tour… I’m thinking that Portugal will also be on the list, since I will have already crossed the Atlantic.
That also will only happen if I find an importer for Enoforum wines, so I’ve got to get really busy for this one.
The PS Symposium is returning, with a VERY exciting key note speaker… Stay tuned for the announcement and further details… This one is very big for PS. Ghirardelli is always fun… No Florida, but I do need to find another national panel for my PS guys. (Aspen seems logical, or New Orleans… Gotta get busy organizing.)
How about you? Any fun plans in the offing?
Victor,
Very kind of you. Just wait until you hear what’s happening for 2010. Concannon has pulled out all the stops has allowed me to find a very visible wine blogging person to be the key note speaker. I have a confirmation, so now I have to write the details. Very exciting and will be a major draw for everyone.
I’ll let Jim C know that you’re sending along your best wishes. I know Loweeel will find your comments… He’s keeping up on all of this.
Happy New Year, too, to you and Beth. You’ve been a great find this past year. I really appreciate all of your support for PSILY. It’s the support from the best wineries in the business (large and small) that have allowed PSILY to stay afloat and function on behalf of the variety. http://www.psiloveyou.org for the best of the best!
Thank you very much Victor and Jo! Happy new year to both of you, to all PSychos and GrouPieS,and to wine-lovers everywhere.
I am really looking forward to D&D and reconnecting with new friends and old.
Jo, I don’t know if you saw on twitter, but I got whoever runs the Titus_TV account to talk about joining PSILY with Eric Titus when he gets back from vacation. Care to man the the other flank? I love battle PlanS… 🙂
Jo,
I wish you and your family all the best for the coming year. It has been a pleasure meeting you via email and hopefully this year I will get the chance to meet you in person. I also want to thank you and the members of PSILY for the outstanding response to a PS fan in need. I will do my BEST to help get these wines the publicity they deserve and will push the retailers and distributors to start doing their part. Keep up the great work.
Cheers!
Jason
Loyal Loweeel… (Five time fast, please.)
If you can drum up membership, God bless you. Many are called and few are recruited, is how it works with this one.
The more the merrier, and the better the exposure… then the more people know abut PS, and sales follow.
Marketing 101 ;^)
(PS, Email me about tickets.)
Happy New Year!
Jason, the same for you and yours in 2010. wishing you the best, and delighted to have been able to rock your PS world… Our members are really great. If you can get here for D&D, let me know. I’d love to host you at the event for further PS fun.
