From Maine to California, From Portugal to the Rest of the World, Peace on Earth

Weekly Holidaze Drawing: Just leave a comment on any wine-blog entry this month, to win gifts this December:

May this Christmas Eve begin a lovely weekend for you all. May peace, love, and joy fill your heart and homes.

Merry Christmas!

I took this image before leaving Maine, because the quiet and soul of where I was living is captured in this scene. I would see it everyday as I drove my kids to school.

This next image was taken at Sutter Home, and demonstrates the heart and soul of Napa Valley. I passed this one during the holiday seasons of past and present, while driving to work (first at Mondavi, then while working at Ironstone for years).

I wish you all the very best!

And, by the way, this is why red wine is so important to Christmas…

Sadly, I’m at work, and will probably be here late like I was last night. At least I’m not missing family gatherings.

  3. Wonderful images, Jo (as usual!) and love the cartoon too (of course!
glad you were able to spend time with your family–happy holidays!

Vinogirl, glad you like the cartoon. It was too good to not share.

Loweeel, trust you enjoyed your day off, at least! (?)

Gwendolyn, thanks for the comments about the images. I am now going to have time to share my “Where’s Gwendolyn” images. With this coming week being (somewhat) slow around here, I want to write a blog a day about our amazing trip… including all the fun images of you I took, while you were hanging off castles and taking your own images. (Miss you.) Continued happy holidays to you, too!
