As Valentine’s Day approaches, so does PS I Love You’s Third Annual Event. Because of the wine advocacy group’s name, the event is traditionally planned near this national lovers’ day.
Who, though, wants to spend an intimate evening with 700 busy people? Consequently, this year – even though Valentine’s Day falls on a Saturday – the PSILY folks didn’t want to have their event exactly on that night. Instead, it was moved to the following Friday, extending this amorous time to a week.
This food and wine festival is proving to be the quintessential event that Petite Sirah fans crave from year to year, offering its cult following a more eclectic night than ever before.
During this guarded economic time, this is no doubt the best deal in the offering for food & wine. Tickets are only $50 per person for three hours of wining and dining with delicious food items.

As enrichment to the evening, guests will be invited to create an Impressionistic vineyard scene, oil on canvas, with preeminent, wine country artist Ann Rea. While the scene is being created, it will also be an item in the silent auction. During the evening, not only will people be creating the item, it will also be a collectible item that some lucky person will be able to acquire. People will be bidding on the oil during the entire process of creation. At the end of the evening, the highest bidder will acquire it, capturing the spirit of the evening forever.
A wine silent auction is also included in this event’s activities.
Finally, the long awaited “Groupie” advocacy membership for Petite Sirah will be launched.
