It’s getting really close.
We’ve ordered Riedel Vinum stemware, and the logo’s currently being etched by California Etching. (This glass alone retails for $40, with all the bells and whistles… not your ordinary wine glass.)
It’s a night to taste older Petites with the Masters who crafted them… Legends on parade! …Dinner in Markham’s wine cellar with all the PS stars, and a silent auction that includes a Canton Cooperage wine barrel.
Imagine, if you will, that this barrel becomes yours to fill. Probably you don’t have the connections to fill this barrel. I’m sure you’d want the best of the best to help with this delightful project… So, Jeff Cohn of JC Cellars is the winemaker who’s donated his services! You, Jeff, and a barrel of Petite Sirah? How cool is that!
The auction is also going to include older verticals of PS, magnums, and 3-liter etch bottles, some of these glasses to round out your collection, beautiful books “Concannon: the First One Hundred and Twenty Five Years (personally signed by Jim Concannon), a mixed case of Pet. The list is formidable and exciting.
A few tickets remain, and the night promises to be wonderful!
