The Wine Market Council is going to be hosting two consumer research conferences each year, that highlight wine trends and their annual research results. The conferences uncover the latest behaviors and attitudes among U.S. wine consumers, allowing attendees to better understand their target markets.
The 2013 conferences will be held on the following dates:

Wine Market Council has been tracking wine consumer attitudes and behaviors for nearly two decades. Each year, Wine Market Council focuses its research on timely issues and emerging consumer segments in the industry. Topics of research have included the Millennial generation, Baby Boomers, wine purchasing habits in a changing economy, direct-to-consumer winery sales, the luxury wine market, and the growth and success of wine clubs.
The Council was established in 1994 as a non-profit (501c6) trade association working through all tiers of the U.S. wine industry to grow the wine market. A baseline study of U.S. wine consumer segmentation, usage and attitudes was conducted in 1994 and is now an annual tracking study. The council also has expanded its research mandate and provides numerous studies and reports to its members on topics of timely interest to wine marketers. the Wine Market Council today provides social media support and amplification to its members, enabling greater and more effective outreach to wine consumers.
