Are you wanting to sample the treasures of Piemonte?

This information was sent to me by my wine writing friend and colleague Dick Rosano. I told him that I’d be putting it onto my blog as a P.S.A. (public service announcement). Having been in radio as a PR specialist, I learned a lot about the value of a P.S.A. and understanding the importance of “giving it up” occasionally.

Over the years, Dick has been there for me every step of the way. I told him that getting this trip out there would be turn-about fair play. (Life has such interesting twists and turns.) We both had a good laugh, and off we went. I love the concept of this one, and really wish I was available to head off to Piemonte. How about you?

Another important note is that Dick Rosano wrote the book Wine Heritage, the Story of Italian American Vintners, with the forward being written by Robert Mondavi, ©2000. In my career, this has been a very important resource book, which includes former wine clients Foppiano Vineyards and Trentadue Winery; as are PS I Love You, Inc. members Biale, Roy Cecchetti, the Vincenzo Cilurzo, the Guglielmos, Parducci Wine Cellars, Pedroncelli., Don Sebastiani, Teldeschi, and Robert Mondavi (my former employer).

If you work in the wine industry, you’re going to work for more than a few Italian vintners; I have, and Dick knows more about them than the average person. That said, can you imagine what Dick Rosano will be bringing to this tour in Piemonte?
